MEDICINE PROGRAM

Lectures: informative classes in which students learn theory. All of our students attend these classes together at our Campus between the first and eighth. Tutorial classes: in these classes, that happen between the 1st and 8th semesters, students are divided in small groups. Together with a tutor, the students discuss what was learned during the lectures through clinical cases. Simulation Center: in several disciplines throughout all 12 semesters, our students also practice real life situations in our Simulation Center. Academic Ambulatory: throughout all 12 semesters, our students have the opportunity to care for patients that present health issues related to the disciplines they are attending to at that time. This happens in our Ambulatory. The students are divided in groups of 4 or 5 and proceed with anamnesis and physical examination of each patient. Then, all cases are discussed with Professors that are also specialists in the respective areas.
