This course is directed to students from different areas of knowledge but is specially designed for law students. It is structured with theoretical and practical activities, observing research cases and practical cases in each line of analysis.
The research will be developed in the classroom and through visits to some historical artistic points to bring students closer to this world and make reflections. For that, three locations were selected: 1) Spedale Degli Innocenti (Hospital Of The Innocents Gallery): The hospital helped abandoned children develop and taught the art to give them a place in society. 2) Galleria dell'Accademia (Academy Gallery): it is the oldest school of fine arts in the world. It contains several Michelangelo sculptures, including the famous David, the original, the Prisons, São Mateus and Pietá Palestina; 3) Galleria Degli Uffizi (Office Gallery): This is the most important museum in the city and one of the main ones in Italy. It contains some important arts as “The Birth of Venus” (Nascita di Venere), “The Spring” (Allegoria della Primavera) – both by Boticelli – and “Testa di Medusa”, by Caravaggio, as well as works from Leonardo da Vinci and Tiziano.
