Gastronomic Culture and Food Science is an elective course offered by the School of Medicine and Life Sciences. This course approach aspects of Brazilian food culture, food chemistry and preparation techniques. Students will be able to process the role of cultural factors in Brazilian gastronomy and the correlations of the food chemical characteristics with some preparation processes.
