Sobre o professor

Fernando Deschamps é Engenheiro de Controle e Automação Industrial pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – UFSC (2002), Administrador de Empresas pela Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina – UDESC (2004), Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica também pela UFSC (2004) na área de concentração em Automação e Sistemas e Doutor em Engenharia de Produção e Sistemas pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná – PUCPR (2013) na área de concentração em Gestão da Produção e Logística, com período sanduíche na Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, nos Estados Unidos da América.  É professor adjunto no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção e Sistemas da PUCPR e do Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade Federal do Paraná – UFPR. É Presidente da Seção Brasil da American Society for Engineering Management. Tem experiência e atuação profissional na área de gestão em engenharia, com ênfase em temas associados a automação, sistemas de informação industriais, avaliação de desempenho e engenharia de organizações (arquitetura organizacional, gestão de projetos e gestão de processos).
